I wouldn't do it simply because I'd hate looking at them.

That said...I say go for it!! It could be an electrifying experience!!

Look at it this way. You don't have to worry about lighting protection! Those towers are a great lighting rod!

I live across the street from towers & lines, about 100 yards away. I don't even know they are there. There is no link to EMF's (electric magnetic force) and health problems. Its a visual polution thing. If it don't bother you, don't worry about it. Kinda like looking at a ferd or chevy.

The actual precentage off would be 3%, the selling agent (in this case the developer) gets "paid" the other 3%, you are actually only saving him the buyers side of the transaction, he (the developer) still has to deal with you contractually.
I would start lower than 6% though, the power lines can scare many buyers away regardless of what everyone say's.
