Well, I didn't have a great day but this just completed it. I backed over my extension cord and the duals just completely FLATTENED the plug... so I'll have fun starting her up tomorrow morning .

People who drive too freaking slow on the highway.
Im not talking 5 under. Im talking about the ones that are doing 45 in a 65 then speed up when traffic clears enough for me to get around them.

its time to keep a few extra plugs laying around or pick up your extension cord when your done with it...

 

People, when pulling up behind you at an intersection, move far enough left that you can see 1/3 of their vehicle in your mirror. If you wouldn't pull up so close, you could see around the truck.

 

Sitting at a redlight behind someone.
When the light turns green, they pull 3 feet into the intersection and turn on their left signal.
(If they bother to use it at all.............)

 

I can hear my phone from the office ringing and recruits talking in the halls when I: drive my truck, mow the yard, watch tv, take a shower, sleep, try to sleep, eat, drink, run,...you get the idea. Oh, yeah, 58 year old 'ladies' that still act like a brain dead cheerleader high on caffeine that come in my office like I want to hear what they got to say...

And people dragging their dang feet. That really makes me mad...hat

 

Someone popping gum, or chewing with their mouth open.

The sound of pencil erasers....

People that are in the left lane and decide they want to make a right turn at the last second. People that park too close or feel the need to park next to me when I'm parked in BFE. People that aren't paying attention in traffic because they're jacking their jaw on their cell phone and pretend it's YOUR fault when they cut YOU off. I guess it's just people in general aren't very courteous when on the road.

 

People who complain.

 

one bad headlight, one bad turn signal.....if that's all i have to complain about i'll be alright

 

This is the worst to me... driving.. when people cut into your "safety zone" while braking.

Example.. pulling up to a stoplight, red light, or heavy traffic on highway has slowed.. I usually decellerate slowly as ya'll know a 7,000 lb truck doesnt stop on a dime.. I cant count how many people speed around me and cut into my lane and slam on the brakes just in time for them not to rearend the car ahead of em.. Leaving me to either swerve to another lane or slam on the brakes and hope they dont lock and slide!

I guess it can be summarized with this nice Tip : Dont accellerate into traffic that is stopping.

 

That sound....you all know what Im talking about.....



The sound of a Duramax or a 6.0 Powerstroke sitting next to me
at a stoplight. Just unnerves me to think my truck has to put up
with the other junk on the road.

You want to take a left onto a busy street. The lane closest to you comes to a stop, but someone stops right in front of you, instead of letting you out. (He can't go anywhere, only block your path)

This almost happened this morn. I said something to the effect of "If you weren't yakking on your cell phone, you might have been paying attention and seen this 20 ft vehicle, you...." except not as nice. He (young guy) did see me at the last minute and motioned for me to go, after I said some "choice" words. It was after I said something that I noticed the young lady in his passenger seat. The look on her face told me she could read lips.

This and tailgaters. Subcompacts climbing on our tails....they certainly can't see around us....we can't go any faster than the person in front of us. If I have to stop quickly, they're in for an experience. Blowing out some smoke, seems to have some effect.
