I wish I was as fine, as those who work the pipeline!
This is the Cow elk I got earlier this year. Didn't have a bull tag. Never did get my deer, ran out of time. Three of us in the group, two cows and 1 bull taken. IIRC the bull scored 360. He was HEAVY though. Glad we only had to pack em out 400 yards to the truck. Just happened to look back and see the heard of about 35 - 30 runnin up a draw from the highway as we drove by. For some reason they stopped just long enough for us to get up to the top for a good firing position. All in all good day of hunting though. we even had about an hour of day light left when we dropped em.
Oh one more thing, over here we only count one side of the rack. So when you guys say little 6 point - we say WHAT, ain't never seen no LITTLE 6 point!!! Someone said 11 point, I thought of some mutant nuclear deer running around!!!
Kinda funny huh???

He got a smaller buck and 2 does so far this year too, but this was the only one worth taking pics of.

The best part of hunting this year is when my oldest grand son got his first deer, with my rifle. Pole axed it, never moved. Remington M700 LH SPSV, .308 Win, 47.1grains of RL-15 behind a Hornady 150gr SPBT @ 2900+.

Its that time of year again and I know I'm not the only one who hunts. Be proud and lets see your hunting pics......what ever you've taken. Birds, rabbits, elk, bears, etc...
