Last power tool purchased?

Just got a nice Milwaukee circular saw from Home Depot. Traded in my Skil that took a dump. Wasn't a bad saw. Used it hard the last 6 years. Thinking about a router next. Would like something close to 2hp. Anybody got recommendations?

I have a 2hp Stanley 5/8" chuck, I've had it over 15yers, It stays mounted to a table. Hitatici (sp) makes a good plunge router.

Last purchase: Bosch Hammer/Drill

Triton and Fein make some really fine routers. Porter-Cable after them. My last purchase was a Hilti rotary hammer drill. 12" 3000 lb. concrete.....playdoh. Oh, Oh, Ohhhh, I love powertools!

Honey, I'll need to buy a few tools in order to do the house remodeling. Says to self, "Now where did I put that new tool catalog? And I'll need one of these... and one of those...and..." : ;D Been there, done that!!!

Impulse finish nailer. Just used it to put up the crown in the walk-in closet, man is it nice not having to drag an air hose around...

Milwauke 1/2 inch drill. The quality on those tools is light years ahead of others I have bought. Course, you really really pay for the difference too. Talk about smooth operation and torque, that's a real wrist twister. I love it.

Re:Last power tool purchased?

Porter Cable 19.2 battery Drill. Talk about a wrist buster. Anybody remodeling a house has GOT to have air. Only way to go. I have everything from 3 1/2 nail (Porter Cable) to finish nailers. Banging away with a hammer is so primitive. Next to last was a 12" DeWalt Sliding Compound Miter Saw. Sure glad SWMBO wants all this remodeling done. Dear, this new thigamajig sure would get the job done faster. BUT, now, I have to balance off the tool acquisition with BOMBing. Oh, the trials and tribulations of modern man. What to do??

~Dave
