I actually called him last night and talked for awhile!!! I asked how he was feeling and he said TIP TOP SHAPE 
Crazy old guy!!! He said the doctor told him to stay at home as much as possible and try not to over do it so he doesn't end up hurting himself by falling...............which is a DARN good idea I might add!!
He's still upbeat as usual so I think that is going to help him a ton...........but still it sucks seeing him like that............road trip is still on!!! Going to take my little boy back to see Great Grampy.........he should love that!!

Sorry to hear about your grandpa. Yes a road trip is in order for your sake and his. Like Pistol said take pictures they are precious after your love ones are gone.

It’s good that you contacted your grandma. Life is too short to hold on to old hurts and people can and do change. I’m sure the pictures you sent are a bright spot in her life. After she is gone, you will feel good knowing you were kind to her.
