If you don’t mind me asking what did the kit cost? Also cold you give some details on the install what was the hardest part etc? I’m thinking of the same thing and was not sure if I wanted to do it myself, or if I should have it installed. As I write this another question arises, if I install it myself will / can that void the warranty?

Thanks in advance
Re:Jacobs Exhaust brake is on
The Jacobs E-brake I got from a Dodge Dealer and is the only one recommed by DC and Cummins for our trucks. I paid 580.00 for the kit
The kit comes with very detailed instruction and easy to do. I have never done a large project like this but was not very hard. I also had another boy helping whcih made it easier haven another person there helping.
The hardest thing was getting the two bolts off that hold the down pipe to exhaust elbow comeing out of the turbo. Took about 15 mins on this part.
I had the whole kit on in about 5 hrs, but had trouble getting the Exhaust brake to work, but after I had some tech support from Dieseldude4x4 over the phone and I was able to isolate the problem back to the wire not being set in the ECM all the way. After taken the wire back out of the ECM and pushing back in I could feel that the wire went much further into the ECM that time. Put the filter casniter back on and the brake worked perfect.
The installtion was not hard at all, my dodge dealer only wanted 200.00 to put in, but I would rather send 200.00 on something esle. So I took that 200.00 and got me a chest tyoe toolbox.

Glad it works so well. Was interested in your results. BTW, I described your truck to a guy here (D-Max) who was delivering at the Lex sale the other day. He said if he got it right, you got one sweet sounding truck. ;D Ed
