Night shift here, my friday. Been getting some well needed rain all day.

Scott, for us here, PDA= property damage accidient PIA= personal injury accident. CDA= car vs deer (not so official, since it falls under PDA) .

Top, cool, I still haven't given up on my Mauser asperations, just haven't been able to coax myself to butcher it. The bolt was bent already though, I suspect from the importer, Like Century or somebody. So I may get on it this winter. Thinking about a Shillen or Walther barrel shortened to about 22" with a manlicher stock, spoon bolt, keeping it 6.5x55.

Bruce, I love the 22-250. I'm just not impressed with the Ruger #1 I picked up last year, chambered for it. The action makes a lot of noise for hunting purposes. Thinking about either picking up a CZ 550 maybe a yugo, mauser action to build one up. Fpr an '03 sporter project, I was contemplating a 25-06. But that would be down the road. Right now I'm looking for one to restore. Did you set the barrell or send it out?

Thanks for startin' the 'stuff' Cin. I'd appreciate you keepin' the pink sprinkly donuts outta here tho. When Top gets ahold of 'em I can tell you exactly where he's been all day... he leaves a trail! And that trail don't always lead where you think it might!

Happy friday everyone! Work was good, start tearing into a coupler and draft gear today. Engine came in the shop needing both rebuilt, all worn out and sloppy. Stopped after work and pick up a 12ver of Miller light silo's and some Boddingtons Pub Ale. The rain is done, the grass looks green now and will need to be mowed this weekend. Looks like I'll be mowin then washing the truck tomorrow, should be a nice sunny 70* day. The GF is going with her sister to Iowa for a wedding tomorrow and won't be back till sunday morning. I'll probably go out with a couple friends tomorrow night. Tonight the GF and I are gonna go out for some dinner and a couple drinks.

Puttin out some coffee, ph00, tea and seet tea for the 3-11 shift. NAd for those of that are of work now, the fridge has beer in it.

Thanks a lot, Don - - I really needed that. I am headed there in one week. Think I would rather be up there fishing with you or maybe up with Paul with a nice moose in my sights.

Cloudy here all day and probably tomorrow. Don't know what all the attraction is around here - - don't need these storms - - go away. Hey Hat - - you better let all your air out and slid into a narrow crack somewhere - - looks like this one has you. The projection on the next one brings the center right over my house. Oh joy. At least it should be lower in winds. Guess I better do the drill anyway. Probably leave everything that way while I am gone. Wish I could hide the truck somewhere inside. Too long to fit in the garage - - DUH.

OK, had my ph00, donuts gone, only little critters on the floor cleaning up the crumbs. At least it helps the maid - - I mean janitor. I'm out of here - - have a good one and hang on up north of me. Good luck.

Bob
