I used unthinned water based latex exterior paint when I painted my house.

the first round, I thinned the paint with water and it sprayed ok, just took a few passes to get a good coat.

If your using water based paint, thin it with water.

Evening.

Been busy. Wen't out wheeling and camping last night. Left with one Jeep on the trailer, came back with two. Blew up the spider gears in my buddies TJ. Another friends ZJ got considerable body damage. Mine cam out unscathed. I Almost rolled. I in some shale climbng up a hill and just started sliding.....into a ravine. A couple of the rigs behind me jumped out and stood on my Jeep to keep it topside up. Did some winching and we were good to go. That was about the jist of it. Fun watching some $50k+ truggies climb some of these big waterfalls. A 572ci motor, 40 inch tires, 4 link F&R, lots of wheelbase and suckdown winches are fun to watch.

Just relaxing. Going through a bunch of old photos from a couple of drawers of when I was a little kid...funny.

Im out, hope you all enjoy your weekend.

I thought that was supposed to work the other way.

You invite someone up, they shoot the moose, you take care of it, they fly home with three ice chests of moose and antlers.

sure cant be to different from an elk, with elk we just start it up by the neck but a base ball in the loose part hook up the 4x4 quad and pull. theres a little more than that but thats the idea, should work on a moose but we might have to use the truck

Truck pull went well last night. My buddy pulled 242 Ft in his pretty much stock 08 dodge. He had his Juice on but I dunno what he had it set at. I know he manually shifted the auto and got it into 4th gear. He thinks if he kept it in 3rd it would have gone a little farther. The truck to win was built by Haisleys Machine and it went 310 ft. At least a dodge won it. My camera was dead so I have vids on a friends camera, i'll post them later.

Mornin' all,

NW Houston sunny with haze and in the low 80s *F
Had breakfast at the smokehouse up on hwy 6. Eggies, home fries, chicken fried steak with country gravey. Big mug of that is not as good as the breakroom brew.
Housepainter, When I did a house in Seattle, used an airless sprayer. Did a nice neat job, and fast. No over spray. Them sprayers will spray vasiline. Don't hit your skin with the spray or you will have a paint vaccination.

AK Paul, good hunting. Nice to see ya again. You mean the hunt don't work like FO sez

Mike, nice pix of Heidi and the balloons. Thanks for posting. Camel race story

Chaikwa, going to get busy and do some stuff in the job jar. So you J/K

5erBob, how you and the wife doing? Looks like Hanna is headed your way.

I got a SprayTech 1620 airless sprayer that I have painted more things with than I care to remember, and it works awesome.

Tried to paint my basement with it, and can't get it to prime for some reason, so I just gave up on it before I break it, and fell back on the old standby, beer.

I gotta work in the morning anyway, might as well enjoy the final day of vacation.
