We've got some miller highlife and some shiner bock in the fridge now. Looks like a good time to crack open a highlife.

Ouch

A motorcycle patrolman was rushed to the hospital with an inflamed appendix. The doctors operated and advised him that all was well. However, the patrolman kept feeling something pulling at the hairs on his chest. Worried that it might be a second surgery the doctors hadn't told him about, he finally got the energy to pull his hospital gown down enough so he could look at what was making him so uncomfortable.

Taped firmly across his hairy chest were three wide strips of adhesive tape, the kind that doesn't come off easily. Written in large black letters was the sentence.

"Get well quick... from the nurse you gave a ticket to last week."

Truck is all cleaned up, step bars are back on, and it was too hot to mow today. Did some running around this morning to the local Menards for mom. She's got a big harvest of Tomatoes from her garden so she canning them. She's also making pickles, pickled peppers, and a buch of other stuff. Going to head out for the truck pull at the county fairgrounds tonight. A buddy is suppose to pull his 6.7 that he's turned up a little. I'm not going to pull, somebody has to tow him home when he break his truck. The GF will have the camera ready for pics and vids so I should have some good ones to share after tonight.

Some evening coffee, ph00, tea, and sweet tea is set out. The fridge its full of beer for those wanting to relax.

hey Don, roof on yet?

actually she rides camels, handles ostriches and emus very well. camel stopped, her shirt flew open, she crossed the finish line. that's all that counts over there. money for the orphanage. put it this way...12 feet off the ground, 35 mph and they can stop on a dime. you will never see me on one, heck I don't even go in the track area! how's fishing been? we put the 2 horse engine on the aluminum boat- goes pretty good.

You're a little bigger than a Bedouin, not so sure the Camel would like it either. Haven't fished at all. Gonna hit a lake in the morning I think. Buddy finally got his boat in the water, salmon in the river next weekend. Been fighting dog fleas and training some new chickens so you have something to do next time you're here.

Nope, she cooks and cleans the house, and takes really good care of me, so I do that.

That, and I get to get trashed and no one bothers me...

Yeah... har har... I thought it was kinda dumb... but bring it! Is it my turn in the barrel?

Mike... good to see you. Hope you are doing well. Tell Heidi that I have some billet thread if she needs it...

Evenin, DTR... Helped the OL paint the shutters today, I took them down and put them up, she painted them.

I cleaned the sheds and some other stuff... drank beer all day, that was nice.

Any one use the Wagner power painters? I got one, and it sprayed very slow... but it worked great.

I have one of the small power painters, while its a bit slow, it beats the heck out of a brush or roller.

I think mine is about 4 gph. Realistically, you can shoot about a couple gallons per hour with moving your ladder, reloading the 1 pint paint pot, and other holdups.

the big thing is over spray, tape off or move anything you dont want painted.

ETA: there is an adjustment **** on the back to turn up the flow, I run mine at max most all the time.

Yeah, I had mine up all the way, too. I painted 12 shutters with 1/2 a pint, took 4 hours...

I think the paint was a little thick. I tried to thin it a little, but all I had was laquer thinner... It would not even mix...

They look good, and dried fast. I gotta paint my shed next...
