Jeez... I spend two years in TX, finally escape to New England and we get RAIN a few days before Christmas while north AND south TX have a white Christmas. I hate it when that happens!! I'm jealous of you guys... enjoy it!

(Not jealous enough to want to go back there, though! )

Near Palacios it Snowed all night. It is around 40 degrees now and melting quickly.Stayed up real late last night playing in it. First real snow for both my daughter and myself.

Ok, I gotta ask... is there any place with snow on cactus now? I'm still sitting here trying to wrap my head around snow in Texas. Oh well, enjoy!

This is WHY I moved back home from Canada! Thankfully I missed the few flakes that fell here. Looks like the nasty stuff was further south. **whew!**

Hey hauliday. Did I see in one of your posts that your name was Holliday? I may be crazy but I think I remember you posting that. The reason I ask is that was my wifes maiden name. Not real common.

I was in Palacios for about 3 months at a campground by the shrimpers back in 2000.

Really enjoyed it there. Small world.
