It's Finally That Time Of Year II-Football

Football season is now upon us. High schools are practicing and getting ready for Friday Night Lights, Colleges are having two-a-days, and the pro's are pre-seasoning...

The DTR Fanstasy League is up and running, which I claim the crown for at this point.

Let's here your favorites in each level...

I am looking forward to football season too. I am a Vikings fan, so I can probably rest assured they will play just well enough to make it nowhere!!!

Probably going to get booted off this forum for admitting this but I'm an Oakland Raiders fan and by golly they look pretty decent so far! Good luck to all!

Huskers Baby! Huskers!

They should be good enough to take the Big 12 North Division and make a run at the Big 12 Championship. Should be 9-3 this year.

Norco High School should have a pretty tough season since our entire offense graduated last year, coupled with the new division...

Go Cougars!, nonetheless.

(And Rams and Eagles too, of course...)

Does anybody that has Dish Network know if the NFL channel actually shows games during the season? I just got Dish a couple months ago and noticed this channel and wondered. Would be pretty cool if I was able to get some bonus games!

I don't alot about the NFL channel. I do know that NFL Sunday ticket will give you every NFL game that isn't broadcast locally, with alot of them in HD. Ohhhh. Yahhh!!!!!

Edit: The NFL Channel does give a lot more pre-season games if you want to scout out your fantasy football picks,

Yeah, I did notice that they are televising some pre-season games...it would be really sweet to have that extra coverage during the season! Guess I'll have to wait and see.

My wife hates football season. I tell her in advance every season to not make plans with me involved on Sundays and Monday nights. I'm a huge Oakland Raiders fan.

Well at least you're a realist. You guys have a long haul in front of you to be a force in a tough division.
