I just kept waiting for him to swerve into oncoming traffic and kiss a Mack truck!

Top's Younger Twin
Sure does remind me of some of my dumb drunk days.
Thankfully I lived and did not reproduce until well after I quit drinking.
Two similar times for me.
One...my sister was two yrs old. [no alcohol involved this time.] 7 yrs younger then me...10 yrs younger then my brother. We put her in her stroller, tied two 30 ft lengths of rope to our 10 spd bikes and commenced going as fast as we could around the block. First pass...several neighbors cutting lawns, sitting out etc noticed her behind us...laughing hysterically. Second pass...stroller went wide on the curve in front of our house, went up the sloped curb on the sidewalk, tires hit the edge of the lawn and the stroller flips while my sister flies out of the stroller hurling in the air, bouncing on the lawn and stopping inches from the concrete step. Dead silence...lawn mowers shut off...people standing, watching. We thought we killed her.
She sat up laughing! The little dress she was wearing was all grass stained. For some reason I saved that dress...and then the day she got married and I was the MC...I told the story and handed her the dress.
Two...neighbors saw us trying to build a go cart. They donated a golf cart with no motor. Brother had his learners permit. I had a helmet.
chained the go cart up and away we went...35 miles all the way out to the cabin at the lake with my moms car and cart in tow...top speed was 50 and the steering started going funky so we backed her down to 40 mph. At the turn for the highway to the lake...I tipped over...laughing...set her back on the tires and carried on.
Later that night my dad showed up at the cabin with the RCMP.
Whoops.
