This makes me glad I'm single. I can bomb the truck, when I want, how I want, where I want. Got money in the wallet, can surf this site all night, etc.
And don't worry 'bout them dishes in the sink. There's paper plates in the cabinet.

This situation really needs to be viewed as the opportunity that it really is. I would suggest that after closer observation that there were some closed hood injuries. It would seem that a fueling box,Injectors, bhaf and other things( fill in the blank will need to be added to rectify the offset created by the indirect blow of the accident. But not to worry honey as long as you wern't hurt precious its only money.

When I first bought my truck, the wife had a Mercedes.
I have parked my trucks in the same spot for the past 10 years of living in this house.
One night, she comes home from shopping.
She backs in the driveway so it's easier to unload the trunk.
Let's just say that after she backed onto my truck, which was unscathed, the Mercedes needed a tail light, a rear bumper cover, and a little bodywork on the rear quarter.
She was visibly upset, so I said, " it's only a car, it can be fixed, as long as you're ok."
I fixed the car, and to this day, she still thinks my truck was in a different spot than it normally is.
Standard response, "YES DEAR"
Pick your battles wisely.

OFF topic - the Blue ridge parkway is nice...
On topic - CAUTION...embarrassing your lady in front of your friends is not recomended. No matter how much you may want to tell the story. There could be another KO in a split second ....
You men have a good day and say something nice to your better half today! - JKE out.
