Would you wait for the "Start Engine" light to go out before you hit the key and got out of there?

well in this weather it'd be a LOT faster to get going if I waited for the light ........... in fact it may not even start if I just cranked it
oh yeah and the guy in the rubber suit doesn't scare me
the CG dude on the other hand may cause me some worry .............

I never wait because my grids don't work (toasted relay). You won't hurt anything by just starting it like a gasser, and in our area it will light right off without the grids. When the temps go below 20 the grids are helpful for starting, above that they just keep the white smoke to a minimum.
