IE7 to Mozilla Firefox
Well after light of the huge security flaw in IE7 I finally decided to make the switch. Best 5 minutes I've spent. Noticeably quicker, had to get used to a couple of things, but overall it has been awesome. I recommend anyone thinking about it to just go do it.
But if anyone has had problems with Firefox feel free to share.

gotta dig up the thread about how to upgrade and make it faster, also, while you are at it, check out crazedlist trust the settings they suggest, it is worth it.

HOW TO SPEED UP FIREFOX:
1. Open Firefox, and type about:config in the address bar. Don’t worry about the warning that comes out.
2. Use the filter above to find network.http.pipelining and set it to True by double clicking on it.
3. Create a new boolean value named network.http.pipelining.firstrequest and set that to True, as well.
4. Find network.http.pipelining.maxrequests, double click on it, and change its value to 8.
5. Now look for network.http.proxy.pipelining and again set it to True.
6. Create two new integers named nglayout.initialpaint.delay and content.notify.interval, setting them to 0.
Now restart your browser and check a few heavy-loading websites to see if those changes worked or not.

the rare items I need ie for are some of the online radio station streams, there is an add on for that, it is an ie tab, that the players run in, thats all I can think of that I use it for.

Just lookin back at this and since you said you have multiple computers now running FF, you might look into getting Foxmarks, it is a synchronizing feature, lets you at a click or two make sure all your computers have the same bookmarks, ad one on one computer, and you can sync to the others. another handy feature is called clippings, its a right click menu item. You create a list of freaquently typed itmes and anytime you need one of the items, you right click the entry field, scroll to clippings, and then select the text you want input in the field. great for names, addresses, email addy, p words, acount names, even stuff like phone number and zip are typed enough to be worth it.
