I want another Zero turn Mower!

I run the Toro 345 every day. It never fails or breaks. It occasionaly runs over the missed rocks, baseballs, etc.. and it holds up fine. My machine is a 1994... takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. It runs average 6 hours a day 5 days a week. We cut 75 acers a week. As long as the PM is performed they will last a VERY long time!! And it is nice to have a steering wheel instead of levers to operate it. I think the levers are much more fatiguing.

Thanks guys, I think my father has decided for us. He wants the Bad Boy Zt 26. heavier Duty than the others we have compared, electric deck lift, 60" deck and a 26hp motor. Goes 7.5mph forward, 3.4mph backward. I think we're gonna pick one up at Tractor Supply tomorrow.

I would reccommend looking at a Dixon ZTR. They have really improved over the old cone drives, they are made in US, and they are quite a durable machine. Also perhaps a used (not ZTR) Deere 935 or 1145 if you can find one for that price, Yanmar 3-cyl diesel and a true commercial machine. Additon- there are 3 935's on ebay presently, including one in AZ for 3500 buy it now...if I don't buy it first...

These are the fastest zero turn mowers and they are the top of the line.5 acres an hour.

We're gonna get the Bad Boy. Looked at some yesterday and decided. After reading alot of good reports, I believe it will be a good choice. I'll post a pic when I get it, should be sometime today.

Well here's a follow up. Got the BadBoy and its absolutely 100% better. Everything is heavy duty on this thing, it weighs in at 950lbs!!! Has plenty of power, cuts great, and hardly burns any gas!!! I am in the process of adjusting the handles to allow a little more speed and I'll be satisfied.

Most commercial guys around here use these. http://www.grasshoppermower.com/mid_300.php
I have the Sears one http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...Tractor+Series but we only have just over an acre to mow at the house. Works great though. It has an electric PTO and deck adjustment. Usually get the lawn done, pick the grass up and trim in about 45 minutes compared to 2 hours with a standard lawn tractor with the same HP and deck size.

I've been running Cub Cadet Tanks one with the 25 kawasaki and the 27 Koehler. Never had a problem with one yet. I had a ExMark Lazer Z and I like my Tanks better. You see more ExMarks because they will offer a lease with trade in on newer models making it more popular with the larger commercial companies. If you are a "stripping" fan the Tank and Exmark are identical to each other. I also like the Timken bearings offered on the Tanks.
