I think I知 getting OLD
This morning I missed a 150-yard shot at a Coyote. I have made this shot many times before, easy shot with a rest off the back porch. I must be getting shaky in my OLD age.

Ok you got me I値l admit I have not be shooting like I used to. Things like work keep getting in the way. But I think I値l walk down this after noon and burn a few. Its nice having my own range set up and waiting for me.

Well here is my story and I知 sticking to it. Yesterday after noon I walked down and shot about 50 rounds. The first three shots were about a foot and a half low and outside. So the miss was not my fault (don稚 say it I know that if I had shot more I would have known that the scope was off). After realigning the scope I think I知 ready for them old coyotes and stay dogs.
Truthfully I don稚 know why I even shoot the coyotes we don稚 have any cats any more and I have lost more stock to the dogs.

No, really... just because they aren't eating things at your property I would be willing to bet they are having lunch at your neighbors and those folks are probably grateful for your actions.

Darn things got me up before 5 today, kept Karen up half the night too. Sounded like a big litter of young ones this year. The population is too thick in most places, they need thinning. If I didn't have enuff hobbies already.....

If they are not messing with the livestock as few do. Leave them, we thought a few years ago to thin them and we were soon over ran with rats, rabbits, field mice and the such in and around the hay barns and the feed lots, they have established back now and it is back to normal, I talked to a local game authority and was so enlightend with some knowledge of how they are actually a benifit to a cattle and hay operation as they eat massive amounts of the rats, mice and rabbits. Goodluck,,Rick You still need to stay in practice for them strays, as they are the real threat!!
