No joke. We didn't aim it for the officer either. The car was about 30 yds away from where ther officer was standing. Like I said, he was more upset we tested it without him than anything else.

Hey, this was the first time I have been in trouble with the law... I think after 21 yrs I have one well only putting one person sorta in harms way even though he saw it coming. And to think all my ex gfs fathers still love me.

If I was a cop and some kids shot a flamming potato at me....Id let them go.
Seriously. If they werent trying to actually hurt me, if they were just messing arround....Id let it slide.
I would not hesitate to give them a good scare though.

life lesson #53
when life hands you lemons, find somebody whos life gave them vodka and have a party.
however…
when life hands you flaming potatos, most people won't make mashed potatos, especially local law enforcement.
i have more lessons i can share if needed

I may need them, this maybe my first run in with the law however its just no other offenses have been proven. Plus the cop knew we weren't trying to hit him. However, he had to turn the deer in knowing how many we get a week..... And it was a joint warrent against all 10 of us there since they couldn't figure out who hit the button to kill the deer.

And that's the thing, in PA having a farm if you can prove the deer was shot on the farm land you owe and you produce a annual crop it is consider crop damage control. Regardless of how you kill it usually. We proved it was killed on the land, during daytime hours (at night you can do it but they frown upon it) but game comission said they saw fit to file the citation anyways.... Pain in my butt! No relation to the other guy.

That's just the tip of the iceburg for stupid stuff back home but no one has ever gotten hurt. The four wheeler about blew up after using the bonfire as a ramp and a breather catching on fire. Had to closeline my buddy off the four wheeler before the whole thing went up but hey, it was all in good fun.

Yea, the warrent has been dropped due to outstanding circumstances. I talked to the cop Eric this afternoon. He laughed. He knew the game comission was going to take the deer, he just didn't think they would file charges.....
