I love being self-employed. I get to plan my work schedule as I see fit & still make some good money doing what I love doing.

Hoss , thats where I was at when I had those # s , I'm in the middle of making a deal on a claim in no. Cal. rite now , some money that was spouse to be by now isn't , so I looking at maybe selling some stuff to not lose the oppertunity .
Any BENCHREST SHOOTERS here may sell the hole works ?

I'm in the upper 50k-75k range and I would never pay half my yearly salary for any vehicle. I got my 05 2500 with 7,000k on it last year for ,$21,000 how? it is an "R" title and it was re done to showroom condition. I bought my first CTD, an 01' at the same place and never had a second of trouble with it for 100k miles. I could care less if it is an "R" title, as long as it was rebuilt right. I saved around $20,000 compare to a new one..

I do alright as a HD mechanic in the oilpatch. I work for Nabors Drilling. I made $80,000 this year. Working strictly in shop. make far more in the field and even more for International rotations.

Or civilian govt. contractors....But I'm only working 5-6 months a year on this project...rest of the year off with un-enjoyment checks... Current job is in QC at the missle defense project here in alaska...construction shut down till april or may.
