That looks expensive.

Can't even imagine how they'd get that house off there without turning it to junk.

Nah, 10 minutes with a crane and the guy would be on to his next encounter.

If you ever get the chance, watch them install a Modular home, pretty cool.....

I'm with ArkansasRam,the route would have most likely been srt by the state and county. But, and this is a HUGE but, on EVERY permit, it says "This permit does not absolve the driver for ensuring that any and all structures along the route will allow passage of the oversize load." Or words to that effect. So, what it really says is "this is the route we insist that you take, but if something goes bad, tough luck, it's YOUR fault, not ours."

As for the house, it's sitting on the moving beams that are bridging the creek. So it's likely just fine except for a couple of cracks in the drywall. It likely even set down relativelt easy, but I bet it ceased moving forward quite quickly. Now, if the bridge had been longer, and the timbers (or I beams) hadn'tbeen longer than the gap... Well there'd be a mess to clean outta that creek.

It might take only 10 min. to swing it off the creek, but you can bet his bill will be for more than that. looks like you would need a good size crane because of where he will have to set up. Looks to be a good reach to make the swing correctly. Plus the cost of the bridge repair you can bet he is in the red on this job.
