Thats MR Hoss to you buddy!
I pretty much grew up on the back of a horse but for the most part I quit riding when I left for college. I do hope to get to a place where I can have horses again someday.
I don't know if that makes me a horseman or not, but still...

My Wifes Mule met it's first Llama 2 summers ago when she was a green 3 year old. She didn't buck but she did try to run down the trail and at a very rapid pace until the wife 1 reined her around. My old molly just stood and looked at it until the Llama penned it's ears and started acting like it was going to spit. My old mule got a little peaved and started trying to go after the llama. I think she would have picked the thing up and tossed it if I hadn't of stopped her. She tends to bite other equines that annoy her and that is the warning before she sends one of those missles called a hind leg their way. I swear she can roll a dog and never miss a gait.

Once a horseman always a horseman. I know very few people who have been around equines that don't want to be around them again at some point in their life if they are able to.

Oh it is so funny those goats look like the devil with those beed eyes and there big long horns and I mean like 3ft long, and it is always a bunch of retards packin them in ya know and they only carry like 30 pounds, so they put bells around them and chase them all over the place trying to keep them from eatin grass and runnin of. Well for what ever reasons mules hate them there ears get tall and they start breathin heavy and all, one time we were goin along a really hardcore trail and we came up on these goats and a bunch of scouts, now we are leadin a big pack string and we have the right away so basically we ain't stoppin and we ask the guy to please step back for there safety well they had no problem with that but one of the goats did. We have a mule named Lester he is an amazing animal but doesen't like goats ya know and this one goat bbbbbbbbaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhd at him and lester nailed him with a kick right in back of his little goat head and it rolled him a few times down the mountain the pack went flyin and all the other goats wigged out.

I had a QH gelding and an arab mare for a few years. Had to sell them when I went back to school. Couldn't afford the boarding fees. I had every intention of getting back into the horse scene but never did. Maybe before I kick...

Had horses courtesey of ex wife.
Enjoyed being around them. Got sort of a calming feeling when I was with them.
Lost em after the divorce but still have the tack and saddle.

The wife is in the boarding/training/showing/lesson business in the city. She has about 40 head there now. Big lesson program. She and mom do it together and they specialize in hunter/jumpers. They are always criss crossing the country taking kids to shows here or there. We used to do all of the transporting also, had two 8-horse trailers, paid real well but I got tired of the headaches of dealing with the wealthy people that owned the horses, and the liability so I got out of the middle of it. We've got 6 quarter horses at home that we check cows with and go on the ocasional trail ride with some friends of ours. I like going and staying at some of these places with our friends and riding and camping for a couple days, most of the time we end up drinking to many high ***** though!
