How did you end up with that wierd nickname?
Have noticed that some of you "gentlemen" and of course ladies have some really wierd looking nicknames such as Gonzo, Hoss, Teeth etc. How about telling us what made you choose something like this? What is the history behind your funny name?

My name is a play on words.
It could be Diesel Days or Diesel Daze .
It came from me always referring back to high school when I drove gassers. Those were my gasser days.
Now, its nothing but diesel for me... thus these are my Diesel Days.
Althought, after spending all my $$$$ on Bombs, its more like a daze!

As for Hoss and Gonzo, I dont know how they picked the names but I can remember when:

Hoss = F-250_Hoss
and
Gonzo = Gonzo2000

Ahhh, the good 'ol days.

Rich

Gentlemen -

Has to do with motocross..Its also the license plate on my truck.."FMF" stands for "flying machine factory"..Its a race engine builder for motocross motorcycles in so.cal..I used to ride for them back in the mid 70's, I've had this license plate on my truck since 1975. "MX" stands for motocross..The owner of FMF once offered me 5,000 for the plate, for their race hauler tractor trailer..Occasionally you will see it in a mx magazine where someone has taken a photo of it when I'm at a big race.

Some have also said it stands for something having to do with fast and mother..

That may apply to the truck, but not me..I switched to vintage bikes for mx, and have alot more fun now..like it used to be..got tired of launching off 20 ft jump faces to fly blindly into a downed rider, with no where to go.. makes for a terrifying flight. and landing..

there are no blind jumps in vintage racing.. ;D

When I started posting here, I was looking for a Dodge Cummins. I've got one now, and I still want it, so I guess it suits me OK. I'm known as MrChecker elsewhere, though. See "baby" in my sig.
