Yes, I own both of these, perfectly legally (in case some VPC fruitcake sees them).

Not sure if my linking skills are going to work...
don't know where you are in PA, but I'm putting together a shoot on my range in western PA, you're welcome to bring those badboys!

my favorite rifle and handgun:

Savage .17HMR

Rock Island 1911 w/ Kimber Warrior grips, various aimed slow fire and rapid fire.

hovisimo,

When are you getting together? I am just about 2 hours from Erie, but I do all my shooting at our family's range in Jefferson anyway. I also have friends in the PGH area so anywhere on the Western PA side is not out of the question for me.

I'll show you guys how to get your smoking friends to stop by cutting a cigarette in half at 200 yards!!! Tom, you know I mean you if you're following this thread.

Oh yeah schv,

I have never had the privilege of shooting a suppressed firearm. If you come I would be forever grateful if you would allow me to run a magazine through on the SP-1. I will of course supply the ammo unless you have a specific variety that you prefer.

This would be a lot of fun! hovisimo, maybe you should post a thread for this gathering. I know of 3 DTR members, including myself, that would almost definitely make the trip. Let me know!

I don't have a picture, but I sure like my Jay Young rail gun with a single shot action I built. It is a 6PPC and I have shot ten shots in to a .132" at 100 yards outside. Made a purty little hole. It sure is fun when they go where you point them.

I am not missing it at all... proud owner of M700 VSSF in 220 swift. Have 3 shot group inside a dime at 200 yds. 5 shot group in a quarter at 350 yrds...

But my favorite long arm is my FN FAL Para in .308. 3 shot group inside a soda can at 450 yrds. laser ranged. Oh yeah... that was with iron sights. SWEET!

Favorite pistol is a toss-up between my Bren Ten and Colt Delta Elite... both 10mm.

My favorite pistols are my colt python with eliason sights I bought in the late 70's, and my colt 70 series gold cup national match. The rifles are my colt sp-1 ar-15 which has a serial number under 20,000, my remington 700 vls in 223, and my compass lake engineering ar-15 that has a krieger 24" cryo treated heavy barrel, jewel two stage trigger, titanium firing pin, tubbs spring, free floating barrel topped with a weaver T-36 target scope. Also I guess I have to add my pre 64 model 94 winchester 30-30. Don't need the latest greatest super ultra magnums to kill a deer just my 7mm-08.

i like all my guns, they all serve their purpose.

H&R 1871 buffalo classic chambered in .45.70 with peep sights and is 44 inches long

1971 ruger super blackhawk 3 screw early model .44 mag with 7 3/8 barrel

ruger GP100 .357 full stainless 6 3/4 barrel, looking for a twin so i can do some custom work to them

winchester model 12 16 gauge bought new by my grandfathers brother in 1936

marlin 22 automatic rifle with tasco scope

H&R youth model greenwing special 20 gauge cut down to legal limit, mercury recoil reducer in stock, with extra full turkey choke, makes for great home protection when shooting one handed

yugoslavian SKS that is beautiful, all redone by previous owner, not some cheap crate crap.

fox double barrel 20 gauge, beautiful

remington 870 express, factory fiber stock

i want a H&R handi-rifle chambered in 500 smith and dressed "sniper" style with all new stock, scope and other assorted goodies.

i want another "junk" 870 so i can dress it as a full tactical shotgun and have in it what i would a new "stock" gun.

i want a taurus 24/7 with a long barrel so i can keep it for home protection and hunt with it, .45 long colts and .410 shot shells will take care of anyone that breaks in the house.

My favirite gun eh!!!
(sits back and takes a deep breath of air) Well, there's the, ah nevermind. Jack don't have enough hard drive space.
The normal carry piece is either the RIA 1911 slightly modified, the Springfield Ultra Compact 1911 in SS with night sights, or the Charles Daly 1911, or, Para Ordnance 1911, or, well, you get the picture. Then in the pocket, there could be an NAA five shot 17.

Guns, we don need no steenking guns.
