i wanna see this lady bug thing. how does that work?

carb cleaner and brake cleaner are very very very very very effective at killing insects.

i had a bees nest one time in my shop. grabbed some carb cleaner and knocked them out of the sky.

Yeah, brake kleen and carb cleaner are old school methods, both very effective.

The main thing thing about the wasp killer is the distance, it's amazing how far you can shoot it with pretty decent accuracy.

Old cheap brake cleaner does the trick for me. When it hits them, they fall down.

Is the nest easy to get to? Get a trash bag (with no holes ) and wrap around it at night and seal it up with a twist tie. Pull the nest down and let the bag in the yard for the sun to cook the little devils the next day. This way you will have a cool empty hornets nest you can spray with clearcoat and enter it in the county fair.

A can of spray adhesive is fun .... they can't fly & sting ya if their wings are stuck !!

I had wasps all over the roof line of my house ... called the exterminator. Best $75 I ever spent !!

Cheers,
PISTOL

My Father in Law had a bee hive and called animal control. When they got there they said it was Honey Bees and they could not kill them. He took the shop vac and just sucked the little buggers up until they were are gone.. Do not know how he got them out of the Vac as I left before that excitement happened. I typically choose the Wasp Spray (Foam style) as I think it clings better to keep them from flying away MAD..

Vinegar apparently makes a good bait for water traps designed to capture and get rid of hornets. A company named Skone has designed something of an adaptation from the original do-it-yourself 2-liter soda bottle wasp traps. They still use a 2-liter or even a 1-liter soda bottle (so long as it has a standard mouth, not a “wide” mouth), but what they’ve done is created an attachment that simply fits onto a bottle, so there’s no cutting involved. Very smart. Just add 1 cup of sweetened water (sugar only), one cup of apple cider vinegar, a drop of mild dish soap, and some raw meat for the hornets, and you’re ready to kill some hornets.

It's a little risky, but I've ran the weedwacker at WOT over the nest many times. They get pretty ticked and go to fly off and they all end up with a headache. Just toss the nest after that...
