Yeah. And then you Alaskans get some kind of bonus for the state from the sale of oil every year to offset it don't you?
Oh well, what are you gonna do?!?!
And yes Ed, Those Hispanics hanging around at the 7/11 parking lots scare the crap out of me so I'm glad we are hauling them away!!! It's kind of funny how they all disappeared until the county decided to lighten up on them and they are back in full force. Honestly, I could care less if they are here if they would just pay some taxes so I didn't have to support all the programs that help them get along here.
My total tax bill for my two vehicles and the dually I traded in after three months of the year is a whopping $1750.00...

I think it's NUTZ to pay annual taxes on a vehicle period, but I suppose they have to get it one way or another. What gripes me is, when folks come to Fla. to live in an RV for 6months out of the year tax free, and my property tax has to pay for the local municipality's for them.

Registration for my 04 is $516 for the year.
I don't know what I pay in property taxes but, with the value of my house going down I'll pay for the apprasil and get my tax bill lowered. State income tax is about 10%. Sales tax on most items purchased is 8.25%
