Hilarious Traffic Stop Today
Ok, so let me explain the whole thing... So I'm out working today and this guy in a van flags me down and says his daughter's boyfriend stole their other car. I get his information and some others start looking for the car. I'm out with this guy on the side of the road with a couple of deputies and a trooper when low and behold, the car drives right by us.
I chase him down and get him stopped, put him under arrest and then stick him in my car. We put his girlfriend in her dad's van and then proceed to question etc. While we're there, a goat and some chickens come up and start eating the registration for the guys van. I mean, talk about a bad day. So we had a stolen car, domestic and a livestock in the road call all wrapped in one. I guess you just never know what you'll run into out there.
see pics. lol

Thats the great thing about being in law enforcement, at the end of the day, the stories are priceless. You just can't make that stuff up, but you even have pictures. Stay safe.

A while back, here in the Bay Area, there was a CHP a few cars ahead of me that stopped the entire 4 lane freeway, Hwy 101. Then he got out and started hearding a family of ducks from the center divider to the side, and off the road. It was hilarious to see him bent over, arms out, and running around hearding ducks. People in the cars around me were cracking up.
I was thinking how good it was for him to do that because it surely could have caused a wreck. All in a days work, I guess. Safety first.
