This is a very serious and easily exploitable vulnerability. Fortunately, Microsoft released the official patch for it a bit earlier than they promised. It's available here:

Anyone with automatic updates turned on should get it starting as of about 2:00 this afternoon, central. Anti-virus software is not sufficient protection against this particular vulnerability, although it will help.

Gore's not one of those, that's for sure. He's an anti-free-market, pro-big-government crackpot. Anyone who supports the Kyoto treaty is automatically suspect, in my book.
