Get her a gun.

Just like a marriage......If you take care of it, it will last a very long time.

And you can use it....
When you are in front of your buddies, dont say "Anyone wanna see my new gun?" Because if she hears you, the jig is up....lol.

Could be worse, you could tell her I am not buying you anything this year because you didn't use what I got you last year.

And of course she will say "What Did You Get Me That I Didn't Use" ?

And you could say "A CEMETERY PLOT"

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I think edwinsmith is right here....I like the letter idea in the mail too. She got a brand new Polaris RMK from Santa so the expensive stuff is out of the question....she'd probably get mad and we're moving to S. Dakota in April (military re-assignment), so doing anything to the house is out the window...it went on the market yesterday, and the extended trip out of here is the vaction which we're both looking forward to (lots to see between AK & SD).
PK, she has expressed interest in a hammerless snub-nose revolver in the past that would be easy for her to wear, but I'm not so sure she would feel "love & affection" if i bought her a pistol for a 10yr anniversary. Now if it was the other way around, I'd have to go out that day to fire it

I'll make you a deal on a concrete bedliner. Wives love them because it makes the truck ride smoother.

I'm leaning towards the revolver....or diamonds.

I like the idea of the letter in the mail.....Flashdancer nailed that one - you're wife will love it.....

Does she need a new iron to go with the washer & dryer?? (you may want to hold off on the six shooter though )

Bought mine a dishwasher once, that went over pretty well. The line about jewelry being "not required" translates to "there is something else I want more, but we either can't afford it or I'm going to make you guess because you should be able to read my mind". I'd go with jewelry even if somewhat modest. If you shop around, you can find a deal on earrings sometimes.

If you wanna really be romantic get her to the place you went on your first romantic date, and ask her to re-marry you! Thats what my pop did for my Momma, i remember coming out of the back of the resturaunt with a ring in my pocket smiling. Gave it to pop under the table. He proposed to my Ma right there! She was so surprised and happy she cried. It was great!

Or you could spend the night at home and make it special.

"we could talk all night, or we may not talk at all!" gotta love country songs!
