Here is the latest update.
Picked up another used coil, a nice Bosch. Everything now works and this coil throws out a nice big, fat blue spark, a good ozone generator. Only one problem. After anywhere from 2 to 4 minutes the relay stops clicking. The slightest touch on the relay starts it going again.
I am going to give up on this idea and wait until I can pick up a new unit in the states. (supporting America once again, unless it is made in China)
