Help ASAP!!!!!

Hey guys I have a friend broke down in Las Vegas? He needs a cummins mechanic? Its a 2000 4x4 He thinks the fuel pump is going out! or is out!

check if the fuel filter is clogged

like they said. codes first, then open the filter top and see if its full. if its empty, then either the lift pump is gone, or filter clogged. filter clogged, change it out. l.p, then you are spending money cause it probably took out the vp44

has experianced the dead peddle before?? if so the vp44 is toast.
