Headache Racks?

What do you guys think of this? Going in for powder coating tomorrow..

Holy barbed wire batman!!!! I think I don't want to ride in the back of your truck! (Cool Idea though)

Did you use pipe or rod for the wire strands?

I'm thinkin' reaching through the back window to get a frosty one out of the cooler could prove to be a challenge..

Nice work. I like the way you made it stick out beyoung the cab of the truck. I sometimes carry scafflolding and I don't want the legs to be able to hit the cab. Looking for a heavy duty pre-made that fits the bill.

The main strands are solid bar. 5/8ths if memory serves me correctly. The barbs are solid bar 3/8ths...

I gotta ask; how did you manage to twist 5/8ths solid rod? Or the barbs for that matter. That takes some serious power... or a LOT of heat!
