Has Al Gore Gone Nuts?

It's a Fad, just like Hippies, Beatnics, Yuppies, etc.
This ULTRA patriotic thing must be a product of a country constantly at war with whomever they feel like. It's like if you don't blindly, without question, 110% support your government, you are a terrorist or something?
I like to have my OWN opinions on things, I don't just jump on the "America is the best at everything and don't challenge me on it" mentality bandwagon. I think in hindsight a lot of older folks wish they would have been more progressive and open minded in their thoughts rather than just taking whatever Uncle Sam threw at them and smiling the whole time..............

Trust me, as soon as I have saved enough to go somewhere with less Government and less individual tax burden I'll be there.

Just 1.
I'll wait for you to do research.

I spent 21 years defending people's right to free speach. A lot of times I didn't agree with what they were saying and still don't; however I still believe in the right to free speach.
Flame away if you must.

You can bang the drum all you want, but we HAVE dumped on a lot of countries. We've done a lot of posturing for publicity, and ignored a lot of truly terrible plights because helping might not have brought a bunch of positive press. But, we've also immeasurably helped other countries. The rebuilding of Japan is one that comes to mind. We've stepped in and helped when probably no other country would have in the same situation. It's a two way street, just as most other stuff in life is. Let's please stop the "you're a traitor and you should just leave" BS. The guy pointed out something. Yes, there are other sides to the story, such as the one I brought up about Japan. You'll be alright-don't lose your mind. Surely a viewpoint other than flag waving and "burn the arabs" can be tolerated. It's not like the guy said we should all bow to allah and give the mideast our firstborn children.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
How 'bout we get back to the original question; "Has Al Gore gone nuts?'
It's starting to sound like some of what ails Al has rubbed off on some of you.
BTW, there are normally three sides to every story, yours, mine and the right one.

Thanks for the support.
Most of you guys would be suprised how "regular" I really am. I'm your neighbor that plows your driveway and won't accept payment, I'm your co-worker that watches your back for you, etc.
It's easy to get excited and offended by someones thoughts, it takes a Man to hold tight and think before they speak (write).
