In arkansas, if your at least 14 and if you have had your 'paper' license over 6 months, you can get what they call a hardship lisence. Its where you can drive to school, work, or church by your self. as long as you dont go joy riding or give a ride to non-immediate family members. ya get the hardcopy and all the good stuff. yack yack yack. and that basically covers it.....

In most states, if they catch you abusing the hardship program, they will tack a couple of years on to when you can get your real liscense. ie, 16=18

MAN!! You guys have to get some age.
My first car I bought when I was 12. I could hardly see over the counter to get my
title and plates. I learned to find excess fuel when I was about 10 or so. We had
an old Plymouth we drove around the field. If gas and diesel causes cancer I should
have passed on 20 years ago.
