Happy Thanksgiving to all here on DTR. Cherish the time with family and friends. Remember the Military personnel serving abroad and all those unfortunate folks suffering from hurricane Sandy.

Thanks and same to you and your family too Tim.
We're heading to NJ next Tuesday for a conference. Don't know what we'll find there but the conference is still on.
Going to Mass after the conference and we have a class scheduled in Granby, (if enough people sign up for it, right now we're 6 short and it's been advertised for 2 months), so maybe we can hook up again.

I've decided to do something different this year and go back to the old way of Thanksgiving; I'm going to invite all my neighbors, have a huge feast, then kill them all and take their land!

what do Native Americans celebrate on Columbus day or Thanksgiving???
What am I thankful for this holiday??? The men and women putting themselves in harms way so me and mine can sit and feast in peace...and all those who have served our society to make it possible..military, law enforcement and even those pesky firefighters......

I would also like to say a special THANKS to all serving military for sacrificing not being with your family so that I can be with mine, and be safe doing it. Also to those that have served in the past for the same reasons.
