Re:Happens every year!
NWDave's extension cord replacement and repair service is now open. Just fax your beauty to me and I'll repair them. Only cords used for CTD preheaters will be considered. Special handling and TLC will be used in a reverent manner. Special rates for DTR members. Left coast customers must route their cords through Chuck 3 and Kbertoch for pre-inspection (Haven't told them about this yet, won't they be suprised ;D ;D)(Don't anyone tell them, let it be a surprise, just between you and me ). You right coasters can route them to anyone you please for the pre-inspection. Those in the middle, send them to GONZO. He don't have enough to do as it is. You can anticipate a return of your precious cord sometime in 2003.

~Dave

Re:Happens every year!
After a couple of strange occurrences to me, I laminated a card that is about 4"x6" that says "Block heater plugged in". Now when I plug it in I set the card on my seat. First thing I see when I get in my truck is that card. Hey it works for me. :

Re:Happens every year!
i usually just warp the extension cord around the whole truck so the doors cant be opened with out it being removed........Only thing is i am not much of a morning person and most of the time i get to the truck half asleep and see this big cord wrapped around the truck and think what dirty prankster does something like this then i think...I'll show them i will cut their cord see how they like that.So i get the jumbo wire cutters and ZZAAAAAAAPPPP!! Holy S#!t!!! that stings a little bit but at least i got that stupid cord outta the way!!
