The weather up here is dropping and looks like it is going to stay that way til spring. I may just follow suit with Hoss' idea. I'll be using water though. Just line the bed and fill 'er up with water and let freeze. Should be plenty of traction then. Aslo, it'll thaw come spring and clean itself up.

marc , make it "neat and clean" and use a waterbed mattress like I do, or get fancy and buy one of the water bladders that are custom made to lay in the truck bed for that .They even have a cut out so you can hook up your gooseneck without having to drain it and remove it..
