Tonite on my way home, I was heading to the High school to get my daughter and just had the cruise set at 75 MPH listening to talk radio. When all of the sudden there is a brand new Yellow/Orange Corvette right along side me. It pulls a head enough for me to see it has the new car temp plate/sticker. Then he backs off and pull along side, from my vantage point I can see inside and see him drop a gear or two and he's off. I step down and stay right with him as he shifts to the next gear, I put the smoke peddle to the metal and leaving him like he's standing still. ;D I lift at 110 MPH and he walks by slows to my speed and give me the thumbs up, then speeds away.<br><br>I wonder if this guy is still happy with his New Corvette!?!?!?!? ;D ;D ;D<br><br>Man these trucks are fun <br><br>

Anyone have a suped up Ram I can drive. I know what its like do drive a high rev hi horse power car. i have had a few I also had a vette and there wasnt to many cars or trucks that would stay with it at least not after the first ten feet. My Dakota was pretty quick it would stay with a TA or an IROC at the time. I guess time will tell because i cant keep my hands out from under the hood on anything i Own so its only a matter of time before i Supe up my diesel. Anyone have any 0-60 times 1/8 mile an quarter mile times.<br><br>Dan

Dan, Check out my sig below, On that run 60' not 0 to 60 was 2.239 and 1/8th was 9.634 at 75.77 MPH. I have 4.10 gears and was out of RPM's before the traps. Since I have gone up two tire sizes. Also I have about 300 plus pounds of weight to remove. (Tool box, Rubber mat, spare tire, one battery and pull behind hitch. I think I can get real low 14's. The mods in my truck to me are upper mild. My numbers are nothing compared to the big boys with much bigger power.

Drove my dad's 02 6 spd. Vette. Very quick. Never got beat and I raced hopped up cars (read turboed ricers who thought they were the sh**). Never got beat by a diesel. People always ask me why I hop up my truck. I tell &quot;Look at it this way. It's embarassing to get beat by a truck. But it's down right pitiful to get beat by a 7000+ lb 4x4 diesel pickup.&quot; ;D They always laugh and say whatever. Then I somehow meet them on the street and prove my point. I love to see the look on their faces. ;D

Fellas that is what i live for!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is awesome when someone pulls up beside u and looks at u and gives the nod like hahah u have a truck and to boot a diesel then u just blow them away!!!!!!! And u leave there car or truck full of black smoke that is the greatest thing in the world!!! that is great raceing a vette in a 7000lbs truck i would be ****** if i was him spent all that money on a vette and getting my butt kicked by a ctd!!! thats awesome guys keep it up!!!!
