Had To Put Her Down Last Night.

After being attacked by one I' ve always been leary of them. A buddy of mine had one, he just wasn't friendly at all. Then again he was mixed with a Chow I believe, so that might of had something to do with it.
That's a nice looking dog, I like the white on his front legs and his tail.

Yeah they are best full blooded. Mine came from a close friend/breeder. Great temperament. But high maintenance. Anything mixed with Chow will have some sort of temperament issue, I've seen a few mixed breeds like that. Kinda like cross genetics and pit bulls, it just aint right.

I wish I was as fine, as those who work the pipeline!

After 13 great years I had to make the tuff decision to put my German Shepard to sleep last night.
Her parents were both "sable" colored and she came out completely White. Got her when she was a month old, named her Snowy. She was one of the best dogs I've owned. Extremely well tempered and protective as sin towards my little sister. I never known a dog at her age who was still so full of life and playful. She acted like a little pup all the time.
I noticed a few days ago she was somewhat disoriented, I thought maybe she wasn't felling to good that day. Then I got the call last night at work that she couldn't walk, was vomiting everywhere and started convulsing. I couldn't stand to see her in that state, it's a hard decision but she's better off now.
I have a 13 year old male who is still in good health. He knows she is gone and he is going crazy. Those 2 dogs were like peas in a pod. I hope this isn't going to be the straw that breaks his back.
Just wanted to get this off my chest.. Have a good one fellas.

Why don't you post a couple of pics of her, that way in one form or another she can be with us forever.

Nate,
Sorry to hear about your dog. I had to put my Bordor Collie down not long ago after 13 good years. Was one of the hardest things i've ever done. My prayers are with you, I know exactly how you feel.

Nate - sorry to hear this as well. Hope you may be able to get a little pup soon to (sort-of) take it's place.
Hope your other dog recovers from this loss as well.
Gosh - I miss having a dog...
