Grandmother Passed
I'm in route to Texas. My Grandmother had a slight heart attack last week and passed away early this morning from a massive one. It’s all good she was 86 led life to the fullest and didn’t suffer in her passing.
I’ll be back in NC the week after Thanksgiving so y’all have a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving!

My thoughts are with both of you. Not that there's ever a 'good time' to lose a loved one, but coming into the holiday season makes it a little worse I think.
Please be careful in your travels.

Flash and Derek .....
Sure a lousy time of year to lose family (as though there was a good time ... ) very sorry to hear of your losses. Have a safe trip and remember that we are here for ya if you need us.

You have the right attitude! Loosing a Grandmother is never easy, but looking at it like you are would make her proud. She lead a good life, and had you as a grandson. Life is meant to be lived.
Sorry for your loss.

Well, just got back from my uncle's funeral. Lousy Day!!! It was overcast all morning, started to rain just after we got to the funeral home and stopped while we were inside. While we were on our way to the grave-site the bottom of the sky dropped away and down it came! It then stopped about 5 minutes before we got there, sprinkled a little there and came down hard again as we were leaving. A couple of my aunts, uncles and my grandparents all met in a restaraunt in jasper,tx. it rained while we were inside, let off a little as we left and rained heavy all the way home back to crosby on our 2 1/2 hour trip. seems some one was watching out so we couldnt get wet!! (thanks Uncle Ron!)

Loosing a loved one is never easy, my condolences to all. Remember 2 things: if you keep their memory alive, they're never really gone, and God has a plan and a time for us all, never put a question mark where He put a period, its all for a reason. May He give you strength in your time of need.

Thank you all so much for the thoughts and prayers!
The funeral was very up beat as much as funerals can be. We will all miss her but will also have very fond memories to keep with us. We talked about some of the stuff she had pulled down through the years and had a good laugh. She was quite the character! I know she would want us to celebrate her life more than morn her death.
Thanks again for your kind support it means a lot!
