Got this in a e-mail today
Over 1,800 lb. wild boar shot and killed in Conroe, Texas near the
County Airport, East of I-45 and near the community of Cut and Shoot.
Killed by a medical Radiology worker...What would you do if this beast
was coming at you? Run for dear life? Climb a tree? or simply get run over?

Maybe it's real but I doubt it was killed in Conroe, TX.
Anybody have any thoughts about it?

Just a plain ole guy
"I grew up in the Conroe area and I can tell you, that's not it. The dirt, foliage and the vehicle is all wrong."
I go thru there all the time and I say the same thing. The dirt an grass aint like that. Cut and Shoot is real. You'll find it on google maps. There is a really good book out about it. It's a documentery about one of the families that first settled there. One of the grandsons was a boxer that fought Catious Clay now know as Mohamd Ali at the downtown Bryan boys club. It's a great read, but hard to find a copy.
It's rumored that the name came from a family fued on the steps of the church on a Sunday morning when one family brought knives and the other brought guns, but there's never been any proof ever found of that.

Here is another one I got today this one might have a little more truth to it.
Dang that's a big cat
Dang that's a big cat
Near Beaumont, Texas .
Look at what James Snipe hit with his car on county road 421 north of Beaumont Texas in Jefferson County. The lion was still alive but unable to move, so our neighbor called animal control and they came and put him down. A land owner had seen this one a week before dragging off a 320 lb steer. Our neighbor is an amateur taxidermist and he's going to stuff him. This one weighed 260 lbs. while most mature male mountain lions weigh 80 to 150 lbs.
We had no idea they still roamed around here!

And to think how many times I have been walking in the woods hunting and be worried about a bobcat or a coyote getting me when I should be worried about one of these getting me.
