Ripper01, this is how I see it you deserved it. Why would you go through a parking garage setting off all these alarms? Personally I find that Disrespectful!! If you knew the consequences of getting a ticket wouldn't that set off the lightbulb? I really don't think that they are jealous the way I see it they were doing their job. This is my Thought on this situation. Have a great day

Find an attorney. They can get it changed over to a non-moving violation. Gonna cost some $$$ though.

Have to agree with CIN'S DODGE. If working at the dealership is that important, you should have thought of the consequences of showing off in the parking garage.

my luck is so great right now.. got to love it
You made a choice. That choice bit you in the rear. Then, you come on here complaining about the consequences of that choice. I think you have a few more lessons in personal responsibility to learn.

If you play, you'll pay.

Go talk to the City attorney and see if they will give you a break. If not just fight the ticket with an attorney.

This is what I'm talking about in terms of personal responsibility. Cin hit the nail on the head. Not only was it disrespectful, but you're trying to pass the buck once you get caught. How about pleading guilty and taking your lumps for your actions and your choices?

Thats exactly what I was going to tell you. Look in the yellow pages and get one that has a big ad about taking care of traffic ticket speeding etc. I did this when I lived in Vegas. Cost me $100.00 for the attorney and 75.00 for a parking ticket. No marks no showing up in court even. He (The attorney) did everything.

Did you learn anything from all this?

Like when you do something stupid, you get a ticket?

Time to grow up a little and start taking responsibility for your actions.

This is just par for the coarse. No one wants to take responsibilty for anything they do "wrong". Not being mean just truthful. Don't complain if you get caught doing something wrong and the other guy dosen't. I know it will be me that gets caught. Just my luck. That is why I don't push it to the limit anymore. Insurance will kill ya.

I got a seat belt ticket the other day. Cops just don't have a sense of humor I love setting off car alarms! My Harley is great in parking garages!

What is the world coming to if you can't set off car alarms in parking garages?

Of course, getting tickets is part of having a cool ride. Every once in a while I wouldn't mind if the cops messed with me; it's a good sign. The other day, for example, I passed one doing 84 and I don't think he even noticed. And then once I almost hit one by oversteering around a right turn, and I don't think he noticed either.

Now that my truck's fire-engine red, however, I might have better luck at getting attention.

Not to defend your actions, but was the parking garage public property? Here in Virginia, if the parking lot is not public property, the police do not have jurisdiction unless the owner complains, then it is not a traffic violation but a civil action if anything is done.. Here at work we had a hit and run, police would not do anything to help catch the bum, we even had a partial plate number. Check out the ownership and if the police had authority within the garage.
