Nope I was never a Marine, US Army Special Forces Retired.....I would have broken his arm and then ripped one of his ears off and stuck it in his pocket as a reminder to not steal from people.

Comstock is on the north side of GR directly connected. Kalamazoo is 45 mi. south of GR.

Lary that's terrible! You would beat someone up for money?.. I thought one's supposed to let the robber take their wallet, then call the police...
I watched (on TV) a robber being caught by a BIG guy who simply fell on the SOB and laid there until the cops arrived. The guy must have been 400+ lbs. I liked to watch the robber try to move underneath, but there was no way, period.

There's a Comstock east of Kalamazoo, as well. It's along highway 96, IIRC.
