Good kids doing good things!

This is from Olivet Michigan. We do a lot with this town on both the fire department and the school system. The lieutenant in charge of public education in the schools is also the middle school football coach.

And this is from Loveland Music Academy. All the kids in this particular video are from 8 to 15 years old. And yes, they are really playing the music. In fact, they arranged this song to their own liking!

Want to enroll YOUR child? Lessons are $24 for a private 30 minute session. Apparently there are some good adults left in the world too!

Anyone else have any examples of kids doing good? We hear too much about the bad kids, let's start finding examples of good. They're out there!

Beautiful! Humanity exists. Going to read some Bible verses and I'll check back in. I'm an optimist not a downer.

tsk tsk do we have to change your name to Debbie Downer? Cincy Cynical?

local paper had a 9 year old girl that raised 85 dollars for a charity walk for a family that got hurt in a car accident. no big deal, right? She asked sponsors for a nickel for the first mile and 2 for the second, ect. because a nurse told her that a plaster cast cost that amount. she walked (on a outdoor track) 18 miles in one day. Others who watched her determination donated $3260 in her name. she read the ad and did something. what an effort! it humbled me.....way 2 go!

It's ok Sis, I know what he meant. People with his 'condition' have a difficult time expressing what they really want to say, so I fixed it for him. He's overcome so much already in his life, his could be a feel-good story in itself!

Good deal! My old man and his Flathead Marine buddies teach cribbage to the 5th graders at one of the schools near kalispell.

The math scores have improved and he really loves those kids.

Our kids need more decent men in their young lives...

Good job!

Awesome! Most kids are pretty good, it's just that we only hear about the idiots.

^^^A couple parents accused them of teaching gambling to the kids at a school board meeting, Dad invited them to stop by between their volunteering schedules and check it out......silence.

Don't ever get in a verbal dispute with my old man, you will lose before it even gets started!! ha ha
