Good Day Today!

I had the previledge today to take my sister to DFW airport and pick up my brother-in-law and good friend, S/SGt David Minshew, United States Army, First Cavelery Division. Dave's home for two weeks R&R from Iraq.

God bless America and our brave Soldiers!

Buy that man a SHINER BOCK and get him some good Fajitas. I can't get SHINER up here in St. Louie so I know he can't get it in Iraq.

I went to Fort Hood and picked up Dave Saturday night. He was fresh in from Iraq and still wearing his desert camo's.

He's been training and carrying out missions in and around Baghdad with the ING for the past year. He says its been rough, but the progress is evident. The ING is catching on and are now running a lot of missions on there own without US military help.

He reminds everyone not to be misled by what you see on the news. He says that everywhere they go, and they go to the worst parts of Iraq, not the best, that men, women and kids greet them, wave and give them flowers.

Don't stop your prayers for the service men. Dave gets out next month, but my nephew Josh will be going to Iraq in January. Much like his Dad, he won't be spending much time inside the wire. He's a Marine MP now and will be running convoy security as a turret gunner. He says that 50 Cal can kick some butt.

While I'm at it, I'd like to thank the guys on this site that have been there, as well as the ones that will be going.

Right on my wife is a S Sgt. tell us here at www.extremedieselperformance.net send our thanks I have been recieving emails from soldiers in Iraq wanting parts for their trucks. Today I sold a set of Di Procol Gauges to a S SGT Bourne he had his dad call in and order he will be home in Feb 05. Since my family my wife and my two sons Tavion 8 months and Taylon 4.5 are a military family we put together care packages for the soldiers in Iraq everyone should look into this believe me the troops appreciate anything you send.
