Goin' out West

Im planning a trip out west with a couple of my buddies. We are heading out on March 22 for a week of driving around and camping Just wanna get the ol' dodge broken in. Right now im planning on going through Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, and am still thinking about a stop at the King Ranch in south texas. (all you texans, let me know if it is worth the drive to go there) And if anyone else has any comments or suggestions on where to go i'd love to hear from ya.

Re:Goin' out West

I spent 8 months in Corpus Christi which is near the King Ranch. If you go there, don't bother with anything else in south TX, except the Roadhouse grill next to the airport in McAllen. There are a whole lot of veeeeery nice looking waitresses there. Otherwise, it's barren and flat and I missed the mountains of NorCal.

I don't believe King Ranch is what you're thinking. It's an actual ranch....not a tourist attraction.

Spend some time in the hill country....

Personally, I like the Comal River in New Braunsfels. Went tubing down it twice last year and it was extremely relaxing.
