Striper?
Aren't them the little slimy frogs with no legs?
Now TUNA season is COMING too, folks. Goin' for some real fish before too long.
Of course, the last three annual fishing trips I've had with my dad have netted about 4 fish, but this will be the year! (You know, common sense states that you can't be skunked for four years in row while spending 2 days in Mexican waters in July. )

He's baaAAAAaaaaaack..............
WOW, what a beautiful lake. Stayed in a private condo right on the lake. As with everyhting on the water though, it's too over developed. Can't stick a sheet of paper in between some of the houses they're so close. OH well, guess that's why I like Claremont. Ain't nothin but a wide spot in the road but it's quiet.
Oh yeah, we did catch three stripers, one each.
The cost break down:
diesel fuel out and back - $65.00
one night lodging - $118.00
food for the night - $27.50
drinks for the day - $38.00
total - $248.50
weight of fish cleaned - 6 pounds
cost per pound - $41.42
Thats not too bad, usually a trip to OBX works out to be about $176.50 per pound. Now explain why I do this again?
