Glass Shop Gets Nosy Under the Hood - Ever had your truck joyrided/violated?

I do my own "test drives". When I do a carburetor for someone and am frequently asked to do a test drive, I tell THEM to drive and I'll ride because THEY know how the car feels normally. I had a "pal" that borrowed my car when I was a teenager and brought it back with grass stuck between the front wheels and tires. I do let my grown young'un drive Cornbread Red because of my confidence in their respect for my stuff for many years.
When I was a pump jockey, I always asked the customer if they wanted me to check the oil as this was in the "Service Station" days and was rarely not allowed. An owner with a '64 Dodge did the oil check himself and showed me why, a 426 Max Wedge complete with a crossram and dual carbs...factory stuff!

I am one of the lucky ones, my brother is a grease monkey. So anything I cannot do he does, the price is right and he knows how I feel about the old girl. I have never had anyone really run my stuff other than him, and do not know what I would do if I did. I did not get the name Tiny for being a small man, is all I can say!!
