I use AnswerFinancial.com. They search all the top companies for me and come back with the best rate. They have consistently saved me from 15-25%. I recommend them highly - it costs you nothing to find out...

I started with Geico and after 3 weeks, they called me and said my insurance was going to double because they couldn't verify my insurance in Canada (lived there for a few years). Told 'em that wasn't MY problem, wasn't going to do THEIR job for them, and dropped 'em like a hot potato.

Progressive will insist repairs are made with aftermarket parts rather than OEM. My honey is a service writer for a body shop. I'll ask her what the best company is to deal with.

I am sure that this is no reflection either way with Geico insurance but it is humerous to me. Other than the commercial truck insurance which is not handled by a car company, I have only an 86 Jeep Comanche which is insured for minimum coverage.

I keep getting these Geico mailouts that they can save me $400 to $600 on my insurance per year. They have even named my vehicle. I cureently pay $154 a year... Old man, clean record, pleasure use only, no collision.

"I'll take the roast duck with mango salsa" That is one of my favorite commercials. But I have AAA and they are the best price for me I've shopped around and didn't like what i was finding. Everyone was about 200-300 $ more a year for my Cummins and 75 Chevy p/u.

Man, I'd say they owe you some money then!?

I've never had Gieco, been with State Farm since I was 16, they have treated me well.

Well since I have been wit State Farm for about 18 years it's hard for other companies to compare.

I checked with Geico once and 15 minutes did not save me 15% it doubled my current rates. I even called them to make sure their website was not screwed up, nope they could not even come close. I guess they are saving High Risk people 15% over other companies.

What kind of Harley and what coverages do you get for $100 a year??? I've been with Progressive & they never were anywhere near that cheap for me.

I use AARP Hartford for the Ram, Jeep and 24' enclosed car trailer. Also homeowners. Use GEICO for the Harleys. BTW, it's GEICO, not GIECO. Used to stand for Government Employees Insurance Company. My Dad used 'em way back when you actually did have to be a government employee to get coverage from them.

Insurance RATES are hard to compare. Things are never the same between two different people. Different vehicles, driving record, state, risk area, distance driven to work. Even credit reports are used by insurance companies in determining rates now. Guess a good driver who doesn't pay his bills gets a higher rate than a lousy driver who does. LOL!!!

I talked to Geico once and they told me that they are geared towards "less than perfect" drivers... if you have a clean driving record, they seldom are the cheapest.

Bingo!

These "discount" insurance places aren't always offering the same coverage either.
