Guess you have not been to SouthTexas much during hunting season.... There ar more than one outfitter between Houston, Dallas and Austin that build beasts like this for south Texas hunting...... You ought to go quail hunting in one of these...Dick Cheney could never hit a target that big, especially if it was moving..........

Micah, as a matter of fact, you do drive around and use the platform to hunt from. Mostly they are used for quail hunting so that you can cover vast amounts of territory. Heck, I even have a bud that mounted the bed on his 4x4 ferd on a scissor lift base. He uses his for a portable deer blind. He drives out to a spot to hunt, hits the rise button and in about 45 seconds he is 28 feet high with a commanding view of the landscape around him.....

Probably. You don't expect them to eat the quail raw, do you?

Texas has alot of mesquite that is a woody bush that provides an insane amout of low cover. The point it to get above this to see the deer. Basically, it is a vehicle mounted tree stand, but its more for scouting. I have seen a couple.
