It's not a lightbulb , a light bulb or a light bub , it's a Lamp to be perfectly correct.

Hmmmm .... this brings up a good point. So, if there was a lite bub hung in a tree in the forest and the tree fell and broke the lite bub.... would anyone notice that the lite bub needed changed ??

If a string of Christmas tree lights is made so they don't all go out when one bulb goes out, and you can opt to have just half blink and the other half not blink. Why can't they all blink at the same rate when you do both halves?
Wait, is this the right thread? It came up when I searched "light"?

Hmmmmm .... hadn't figured that into the calculations. Didn't factor in wind speed and compass variation either ... DANG !!

Guess it's back to the drawing board, eh ??

Depends on how many other lights are on the meter and whether the bean counter that pays the bill notices the reduction in power consumption. If not, most likely no one will notice until someone is mugged in that dark part of the woods and sues the light owner for not maintaining the security lighting.

If a car is driving on a treadmill at the speed of light would you know the lamp went out?

If the lamp was working and you turned it on while traveling the speed of light would you see any light?

Car? I thought it was an airplane on the treadmill.

So now the question is whether the car will take off? I don't think so.
